PRESENTATION

Established for 20 years in the Roannais (Loire), PROTO CONCEPT is specialized in design and complete realization of parts and assemblies in polyester composite, for various industrial sector.

Working in partnership with several local players (sheet metal workshop, mechanical machine shops, installation of stickers ...), we are able to carry out your projects, from the design to serial production .

We give a very special place to the valuation of our pieces by the form, which brings us to work in close collaboration with the design firm DAMON DESIGN, which can, if you wish, make you benefit from its recognized expertise.

The heart of our activity can be summarized in a few words: FIBER GLASS.

Combining lightness, aesthetics, rigidity and resistance (chemical, corrosion, UV ...), this material will meet many of your requirements.

Having a long lifetime, polyester / fiberglass parts are perfectly in line with sustainable development.

DESIGN

Our design office will support you throughout your project, ensuring the follow-up and compliance with the established specifications

We work under CAD Solidworks with support for most neutral formats such as STEP or IGS

MODELING & TOOLS

We carry out all the necessary tools for the manufacture of your parts ourselves: models, molds, counter-molds, jigs ...

TRANSFORMATION

We ensure the serial production of your parts according to the process you have chosen:

- Polyester lamination

- Simultaneous projection

- RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding)

- Resin cover

NB : Possibility to produce fire resistant parts (UL94-V)

MACHINING

We are equipped with a 6-axis robotic cell that will ensure the precision and repeatability of machining operations.

For the smallest series we can manage the machining manually using jigs.

ASSEMBLY / EQUIPMENT

Part of our workshops is dedicated to the installation of inserts for your composite parts.

Custom insert sheet metal, BIGHEAD type inserts ... fixed by gluing or mechanical assembly, we manage the installation of all types of inserts.

CONTROL

We develop control ranges in collaboration with our customers, in order to guarantee the expected quality.

DELIVERY

We ensure optimal conditioning / packaging for each of your parts

We can also study and produce specific packaging in order to guarantee optimal protection of the parts during delivery.

We have all the necessary equipment for the production of your parts:

- Model and mold production workshop

- Mechanical workshop (cutting, mechanical welding)

We study and produce ourselves the robot tools necessary for the automated machining of your parts.

The programming of robot machining is also provided by us, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness in the event of changes.

TECHNIQUE

TECHNOLOGIES

This is the most traditional method for making a part: gelcoating / cutting and laying of calibrated glass fiber / resin impregnation.

Simultaneous projection molding is a process which consists in projecting the material : polyester resin and fiberglass at the same time, using a special machine.

Serie Parts Resistance Mold

The RTM process consists in filling the impression of a rigid and closed mold by injection of resin at one or more points. This process provides precise sizing of the parts, as well as a best appearance on all surfaces.

Recovery method does not require any molding tools because it is the part (wooden) which is directly treated.
